ADAPTATION OF THE RUSSIAN VERSION OF THE «BIG FIVE QUESTIONNAIRE – CHILDREN (BFQ-C)»

The article presents the results of adaptation of the Russian version of the questionnaire «Big Five Questionnaire – Children (BFQ-C)», designed to measure personality traits in children of primary and secondary school age. The five-factor structure of the questionnaire was confirmed: five factors of higher order corresponding to the main personality traits were identified: «Neuroticism», «Extraversion», «Openness», «Agreeableness» and «Conscientiousness». The internal consistency of the questionnaire scales was satisfactory. According to the results of psychometric analysis, the adapted Russian version of the questionnaire can be applied to a sample of children of primary and secondary school age for research purposes.
