NORMATIVE APPROACH IN PSYCHODIAGNOSTICS: RATIONALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF METHODOLOGY

The article presents the fundamentals of a theoretical approach to the diagnosis of personality, called normative. It is based on the category of adoption of standards which reveals the relation of the individual to the environmental standards-requirements. The methodology of adoption of the standards developed on the basis of the normative approach and early results of its research are described. The data characterizing its reliability and validity are presented.
