COGNITIVE BASICS OF READING LITERACY

In the current study we investigated the cognitive basis of competent reading. It was shown that all school and university students, who have better verbal conceptual logical and semantic structures, better understand the meaning of proverbs than their peers with less complicated structures of logical and semantic concept relations.
