We studied the relation of moral preferences «friend or stranger» in solving moral dilemmas (children aged 3–11 years old). In the first part of the study by using the authors’ methodology we identified the age trend: when solving dilemmas children at earlier stages of ontogeny often take the side of a «friend» in comparison to the children at later stages, who are significantly more likely to show justice to the «stranger».
Keywords: morality, ethics, subjective experience, culture, inter-species relationships, moral dilemma, «friend or stranger», children aged 3–11 years old.
