The article examines the role of genetic and environmental factors in the properties of the individual diagnosed questionnaire NEO-PI-R. Research participants were 114 twin pairs (64 pairs of monozygotic and 50 pairs of dizygotic twins) aged between 16 and 23 years. Used methods of structural modeling, based on which it was found that a simple genetic model best fits the data obtained. The structure of phenotypic variance of Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness and Conscientiousness of more than 40% explained by genetic variation, while Agreeableness – 17%.
