The nature of individual differences in tendency to depressive feelings

In work on the Russian-speaking sample of adolescent twins shows that genetic factors contribute significantly to the formation of predisposition to depression. In the analysis of questionnaire scales Kovacs M. (2008) the greatest effect of genotype was found for those who have consistently stood out in almost all studies on the factor analysis technique «The Children's Depression Inventory» (CDI), namely the scales of «Negative emotionality», «A negative self-evaluation», «Externalization».
