Genetic factors for formation of individual differences in children depression

This review is psychogenetically aspects of depression. In the vast majority of researches confirms the increasing role of genetic component with age. The influence of shared environment if and contributes to the variability of depression in childhood, it becomes almost insignificant by age 16. The same genetic and environmental factors affect individual differences in depression throughout the continuum estimates. The results obtained mainly in adult subjects, suggesting the presence of genotypeenvironmental correlations and genotype-environmental interactions for depression.
