The position of the adult, in collaboration with a child under school age (based on cross-cultural studies)

This article is devoted to the problem of authoritarianism characteristic of the position of the teacher in collaboration with the child of pre-school age. The concept of the position of the teacher in collaboration with the child as opposed to the pedagogical styles, and also disclosed the content of the notion «authoritarianism». In the article are presented the results of comparative cross-cultural studies that illustrate the relationship between the level of authoritarianism declaratory and actual current position of infant school teachers, depending on the different cultural contexts.
