INTER-AGE RELATIONS OF KEY CHARACTERISTICS OF COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS IN PRESCHOOL AND ADOLESCENCE

We consider inter-age relations of the key characteristics of cognitive functions preschool children and adolescents (6 and 13 years), as well as the role of genotypic factors in determining these relationships. Is shown that the structure-forming ability at each age are most closely associated with indicators of general intelligence, the variability of visual-imagery and verbal-logical thinking is controlled by factors genotype and the specific environment. According to the study, the genotype contributes to the continuity of key cognitive performance.
